Mallee is home to some of Australia's best cropping and grazing land, yet Labor treats farmers as obstacles to push out of the way for transmission, renewable energy and mining projects. Once prime food-producing soil is lost, it rarely recovers.

After listening to and advocating strongly for farmers and their communities, Anne wrote the Prime Agricultural Land Protection Bill to ensure the Commonwealth Government will not back projects that trash Australia's best farming land.
